Although they're not as loud as some had hoped, they're great for possibly smaller gatherings. They're very loud when paired with a microphone but music was not as loud, with weak bass. Reviewers had mixed opinions on the stands, with some saying they were smaller than expected and others liking them. The remote control was found to work well for controlling the speakers from afar. Some had issues with missing items upon delivery, and others found them to be completely inadequate for their needs.
