Though the product is a bit bulky for some shoes, it has helped with foot problems and is worth trying since it is under $20. The product is not recommended for those who have bone spurs or gout. Customers have washed it in the washing machine without complaints, and it does not drastically pull the big toe outwards. It is not designed for children's feet. However, customers have expressed concerns about straps coming loose, the product not staying fastened securely, and it not being soft enough. Some users find the metal piece is placed directly against the bunion area, causing pain. This product cannot be worn with shoes and should be worn overnight. A silicone toe separator may be a more comfortable option than the Vive Bunion Brace. One user found dog hair all over the product when it was received, while another user found it to be of good quality and relieved pressure from bunions and corns.
