The Roman Ornamotor, a rotating ornament motor, is a battery-operated device that is suitable for use on pre-lit trees. It features an 8 on/16 off timer and has a battery life of 120 hours. With a height of just 2.5 inches, the Roman Ornamotor can spin small, glittery, and embellished ornaments at a slow speed, taking approximately 2-3 seconds to make a full turn. The product also comes with an on/off switch, making it easy to control when it turns on and off. However, customer experience has been mixed. Although some customers were pleased with the performance of the product and found it to be an excellent addition to their Christmas tree, most customers complained of unit failure and that it eats up batteries. Many complained that the actual battery life was far shorter than the advertised 120 hours - averaging at 2-3 hours. Customers also reported a clicking sound made by the motor which was annoying. Some complained that the ornament was too heavy for the ornament motor, and it doesn't spin well.
