The Marina LED Aquarium Kit is an all-inclusive tank with LED lights and a filter system that is perfect for housing betta fish. It does not come with a heater, gravel or plants. Some additional items may be worth purchasing such as a thermometer and testing strips for optimal fish care. The LED lights have been shown to grow plants well. The hood light does not have a "night light" feature and may be too bright for some fish if left on during the night. There have been some reported issues with the quality of the lid and filter system. The tank arrived damaged for one customer and the filter system for another customer malfunctioned after a few months of use. Another customer reported that their fish did not like the bright LED lights.
