Most notably, the multiplayer experience proves to be a strong point, with engaging maps that utilize new wall-running and jumping mechanics, though some players have reported multiplayer performance issues such as jerky visuals and frustrating matchmaking experiences. This has resulted in an uneven gameplay experience that can dampen the overall enjoyment, especially for those who prefer a smoother solo play. The zombie mode, "Ashes of the Damned," has garnered praise for its enjoyable core design and the fun derived from team play; however, it has also received criticism for its oversized map and the extended time needed to complete complex Easter egg hunts. Many players have found the requirements for crafting essential items to be frustrating, which impacts the game's enjoyment.
