What are the directions for use? Iron setting, steam or dry, cover with a damp pressing cloth?
Answer: I don't use steam and I press first on the paper side then turn it over and press it on the fabric side to make sure there are no loose spots. This works fine for me and it's still easy to peel off the paper. -

How do I remove the residue from the back of the items, without having to wash?
Answer: There isn't another way...I use it to permanently adhere so the item stays together better -
