These leggings come with two sets of removable knee and hip pads sewn into pockets that offer an extra layer of protection. The pieces that have the slits on the sides go on the knees, and the stiff pads go on the knees too. The leggings are made up of thicker and stretchy fabric, featuring a wide waistband with loops that help with adjusting the fit. However, there have been complaints that the product size fits large for some customers. Although the Kevlar lining covers the areas making contact with pavement in a slide, the leggings won’t help in mitigating animal bites. The Kevlar stops mid-chin, which doesn't offer comprehensive coverage of the entire legs. Also, after a year, the leggings tend to fade, resulting in reddening on black clothing.
