The NVX VAD1700.1 amplifier is Considered one of the best amps available and is very powerful with clean power output. The amp is capable of pushing three 10" JL Audio W3s rated at 500 RMS each, as long as it is wired correctly. The fuse size required for the amp depends on the wire used for power. It is possible to bridge the front and rear separately on the VAD400 4ch, but several customers experienced issues with the amp not lasting very long. With an AC to DC power converter, the amp can be powered at home. It is also possible to connect two 12" subs and four 6.5" jbl door speakers rated at 60 watt RMS. However, the amp only operates in Mono mode, and it does not have a stereo mode. The NVX VAD1700.1 is a mono block amp that must be connected to both the left and right channel RCA inputs on the amp. Looking at customer reviews, the NVX VAD1700.1 is a good value 5 channel amp that produces a clear and clean sound with minimal to no alternator noise. The amp is capable of powering several speakers with ease, but some customers faced some challenges with the angled speaker outputs and pointed screw contacts that made it difficult to make adjustments or connections.
