The 2019 Dell G3 Gaming Laptop Computer comes with a 15.6" FHD screen, 9th Gen Intel Quad-Core i5-9300H up to 4.1GHz, 8GB DDR4, 512GB PCIE SSD, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB, USB 3.0, HDMI, and Windows 10. The motherboard can support up to 32gb of RAM. This model has a USB Type-C. It features a Max-q version which performs similarly to the desktop version, but due to some power Constraints since it is overclockable, the performance is not always the same. It is advised to connect to a gaming monitor for the full experience. The laptop performed flawlessly, but apparently there is a fault in the design of the screen hinge which results in a high failure rate. Unfortunately, Dell does not cover this fault in their warranty. If you look carefully at the unit, there is only a middle bracket, which makes the screen shift from side to side and fail overtime. The price is low compared to similar machines running 1050 or 1060s. The customer has to be aware of problems with the hinge which has triggered a class action lawsuit and affected many users negatively. The laptop is highly rated despite this flaw.
