Answer: Yes, this would work for anyone up to the age of 96. The age limit on the listing is probably a joke. These are credit card-sized Fresnel Lenses for magnifying print or concentrating the sun's rays for a personal survival kit. -

What is the magnification?
Answer: The magnification depends on how far away you hold the card from what you're looking at. It can easily be up to 4x or 5x magnification before the image of what you're looking at begins to distort.
