Answer: Basically I change mine when all of the teeth are gone. It will still cut for awhile afterward but not as good. If you review some of the consumer images you will see some very worn blades. -

Answer: The EB-007 is a replacement blade compatible with the LE 750, LE 710, AND LE760. The 243801-02 blade is made for use with the EH1000 type 5 and Type 6. -

Answer: Yes, I have a Le750 and the blades works better than the original that came with the unit. -

Answer: I have used it as such along a few borders and round metal (fire hydrant and street sign), but not around plants (metal blade). You would have to hold it off the ground on on its side, which requires some effort. -
