Can this be used as a light defuser?
Answer: Hello, I would recommend using either frosted acrylic or a colored transparent acrylic for a light diffuser. Since Teflon is a solid plastic, light will be unable to get through. -

Is this a hard material?
Answer: I bought the sheet that was 1/16 of an inch thick, it is fairly easily shaped with heat, definitely not stiff. -
Question:
Is this glue compatible so it can be layered (laminated to itself)?
Answer: I do not know of anything that will glue PTFE together. Choose a different type of plastic. -
Question:
You say thinner sheets are skived... what thicknesses are not skived?
Answer: Hello, anything 1/4" thickness and above is NOT skived. -
Question:
What do I use to cut this material?
Answer: Standard woodworking tools with a sharp blade works well for cutting this plastic.
