Furthermore, they have good lightfastness and adhere to the AP (Approved Product) seal. You can use these pencils exclusively depending on your preferences or in combination with larger pastel sticks like the Faber Castell Polychromos Pastels that match the same colors. The PITT pastel pencil set comes in a range of colors and numbers and, unfortunately, doesn't have the color name indicated on them, only the number. The package does include a downloadable PDF color chart. The PITT pastel pencils are pastels in the form of a pencil and are therefore different from the wax-based Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils that require layering instead of blending. Many customers have loved the pastel set, stating that they are easy to use and blend, hold color well, have good pigments, and are great for colored pencil portrait projects anyone can enjoy.
