The product is best suited for metal sanding applications like grinding out rivets and removing spot welds in automotive collision repairs. Though a customer has used it for autobody work on vehicles. The belts are not designed for grinding glass. The tool can be either electric or pneumatic, what matters is the width and length of the tool. The difference between the three different models that look identical is the grit of the file belt itself, you have 36, 60, and 80 grit belts. The 33445 Cubitron II File Belt is a non-directional belt. The belt comes in 36 and 80 grit. Overall, the product has received positive reviews with many customers that appreciate its longevity and efficiency in cutting tough surfaces. However, others have experienced poor quality control with the product breaking at the joint either upon first use or upon minor contact with rough surfaces.
