This jigsaw model has a variable speed trigger and is compatible with both T and U shank blades. It comes with a wood and metal cutting blade and weighs 5.2 lbs. It has a maximum cut capacity for wood of 4-11/16 in. There is no speed lock, light, or brake that works instantly. The tool is easy to use and lightweight. The handle feels great and the blades are easily installable. The blower is so-so and some prefer an LED light. There is a slotted roller that engages the rear of the blade to keep it straight, but this works poorly. One user found that Constantly angling the blade slightly to one side resulted in a more or less straight cut right down the pencil line. Some had an issue where the blades were not included even though they were supposed to be according to the product description. The hex wrench for adjusting the foot stores on the side of the saw. Overall, it seems to be a decent value for an inexpensive jigsaw and is Considered reliable by some. Some users are happy with their purchase, while others would have preferred different features.
