The remotes supplied are not always 4 channel as advertised, so they may not be usable. However, it is easy to set it for momentary function and it can be programmed in several other ways. It is important to note that the device only has one operation mode, regardless of how it is programed, with two normally open and two normally closed contacts. The antenna range is very small when it is coiled into the receiver box, but it will be extended significantly if the antenna is unrolled into a straight wire. Range is only 1/3 longer than the old SEARS garage door opening transmitter. The receiver is easy to install if you obtain the online instructions. This device can handle a maximum of 25 amps but it is recommended to trigger an automotive rated relay to handle the amps.
