The OXO Good Grips 11-Pound Stainless Steel Food Scale is a highly recommended kitchen scale that is accurate, stable and features a large base that accommodates plates and large bowls. This product is easy-to-use, clean and store. It has a back light and it does automatically turn off when not being used but for only 5 minutes. It also has some Cons. Firstly, its 2018 version is less favorable compared to the earlier version which was much better when dealing with fractions. The new version doesn’t measure fractions and switches between grams and ounces multiple times with a single push of the button. Moreover, the included batteries leaked all over the battery compartment during only over 6 weeks of use which is not ideal. However, this can easily be solved by replacing the batteries with 'Energizers' from the start.
