The Haoge HG-EM5III Quick Release Plate Camera Bracket Holder Hand Grip is a well-Constructed accessory that improves the balance of the E-M5 III body with larger/heavier lenses and is comfortable to hold for long periods. At $54.95, it is reasonably priced and allows access to both the battery and card without removing the grip, unlike Olympus' ECG 5 grip which is priced at $169.00. The grip attaches well to the camera and provides a more secure grip on the OM-D E-M5 Mark III. It also features a built-in Arca Swiss quick release plate. However, the grip cannot be easily removed and the vertical mount bracket in the way of fully opening the screen. One reviewer found that the handle is not comfortable to hold and turns the EM5 into an uncomfortable version of the EM1. Nevertheless, most reviewers were impressed with the product, with one stating that it makes the EM5 Mark III feel like a new and different camera.
