How long can these be kept once they are opened? Days? Weeks? A month?
Answer: Our Bread Crumbs, Panko, Coat & Crunch and Stuffing's have an eighteen-month shelf life unopened and kept on the shelf as well as opened and refrigerated. They can also be kept in the freezer! In view of the shelf life, it is perfectly safe to use the bread crumbs & stuffing after the date stamped on the label, unless you notice signs of spoilage, such as a particularly disagreeable smell that might occur from the oil or if any moisture that was able to get into the package. This typically does not happen because the crumbs and cubes are completely dried out before packaging. On a bit of selfish note…we do prefer you use them wonderfully fresh! -

Can I freeze this?
Answer: I've been freezing these for years - actually routinely store in my freezer to hopefully ensure maximum freshness. When I pull out of the freezer they behave like room temperature crumbs. I started freezing because I had trouble locating them locally so when I found a supply at my grocer I always bought more than I would use for a long time. We love these and stopped purchasing brands such as Progresso - those would seem to go stale if left at room temperature so I started freezing those years ago as well.
