The metal corner plate can be removed, and the ⅛" input socket on the amplifier's top is a line level input socket that does not accept and play an analog/mic signal. Feedback from customers is mixed. Some customers felt the amp was too weak, and that it could not provide a clean sound even with the gain turned down. There were also complaints that the EQ control and COMP controls did not work, and some felt the sound from the amp was compressed all the time. On the other hand, other customers found the sound quality for its size to be great and perfectly suited for traveling, and were satisfied with the in-built compressor.
