The Mountainsmith Mountain Shelter LT is a lightweight, floorless shelter. It has an appreciable amount of space and is designed for one to two people. It comes with 13 stakes and can be pitched with trekking poles or a ridge line. The shelter is comfortable and storm-worthy. It is reasonably priced and weighs no more than 2 lbs. The shelter is made from lightweight fabric and has good stitching. The stakes are of good quality but not exceptional. The three back corners are staked out, and the trekking pole is inserted to insert the short trekking pole. The long trekking pole is inserted on the two front side corners. The guylines provide stability from wind, but they do not add more tautness. The tent also comes with a waterproof zipper door. Most people very much enjoy this tent, but some have claimed that it has poor ventilation.
