The KAC1500 winch has a wired remote and operates with Power In/Power Out capabilities. The wired remote can be extended by an electrician. The winch has a manual hand override, but the handle could use improvement. It cannot be adapted to a wireless remote. It is unclear if parts are available. In terms of customer reviews, there are mixed experiences. Some found the winch to work great and found it tough, while others experienced poor quality and burn out within an hour of use.
