DGOL Cable & Wire Rope DGOL-AT211-CT30 Editorial Review
The DGOL Soft Black Vinyl Coated 100 ft 304 Stainless Steel Cable Wire Rope has garnered a mixed yet predominantly positive reception from customers. Many users appreciate its affordability and performance for various applications, such as hanging bird feeders. The cable's flexibility is highlighted, allowing it to bend around smaller diameters without losing its shape. Users have noted that while the product is as described, some would prefer to see it offered in smaller coils, especially as a 100-foot length may lead to excess material for smaller projects. Though the cable itself has been praised, the included aluminum crimp sleeves have received criticism. Some users express concerns regarding the strength of connections made with the crimp sleeves when the plastic sheath is left intact, suggesting that a stronger result would come from using sleeves designed specifically for bare steel cable. This inConsistency has led to varied experiences regarding the cable's overall reliability, with some customers facing issues with the sleeve stops and crimping mechanisms. In summary, the DGOL cable wire rope seems to fulfill its purpose satisfactorily for most users, especially those engaging in light to moderate utility tasks. However, potential buyers should be aware of the crimping issues and may need to source alternative sleeves for optimal performance. **
