Answer: It produces medium-sized, crystal-shaped ice cubes. -

Answer: It can make up to 24 ice cubes per cycle. -

Answer: Yes, it has reminder alarms for when it's time to refill the water tank or if the water runs low. -

What quantity of ice can this machine store?
Answer: You can probably run it for an hour before it needs emptying. The longer you have it on, the quicker it produces ice. -
Question:
How long does it take to produce ice?
Answer: It takes about 30/40 minutes to get the initial batch, then it is a shorter span of time as the ice maker is now cold. -

What is the returns policy and does this come with a guarantee?
Answer: It comes with a 12 months guarantee. -
Question:
Once the machine produces ice cubes, do the ice cubes need to be transferred to a freezer to keep them from melting or does it have a cold storage box built-in?
Answer: You do not need to remove the cubes from the machine. If you did transfer them to a freezer, the ice is quite wet so the cubes would probably stick together in a big lump. We leave the machine on permanently and find we have quite enough ice for use in a domestic setting. We do, however, need to break up the slabs of ice into cubes before we use them. We use a small toffee hammer to do this. -

Does this have the option to be connected to a water supply not just manual fill?
Answer: There isn't the facility to connect the ice maker to the water mains, but it is a great machine and highly recommended. -
Question:
Does this product have an earth (three prongs) on the plug? Or is it a two prong EU plug with an adapter?
Answer: It has a UK 3 prong plug. Works well but ours has just stopped working after 12 months. -

Where is the machine made?
Answer: From memory, the unit is German made. -
Question:
How many minutes does it take to make an ice cube?
Answer: On first start up - around 20 minutes. After that - it is in the 12-15 minute range to make the ice. -
Question:
I understand this comes with an EU to UK adapter. Does it have an earth? I want to ensure this product is earthed before I buy it.
Answer: I am using one in the UK with the adapter provided.
