Answer: The D3 in question has likely been produced using Lanolin from Sheep's wool. This is why it is technically not suitable for vegans but it is for vegetarians. To be honest some vegetarians would not like it if they considered the extraction of lanolin to be part of the slaughter process. If you're reading this and you are vegetarian please ignore 'approved by the vegetarian society' labels, the society is a joke and you are better off doing your own research and making your own decisions! Keep healthy, keep thinking. -

Answer: Hi, the ingredients as written on the bottle are: vitamin D3 and other ingredients include Dicalcium phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Silica. I've recently bought this as I couldn't find my usual brand. I haven't started taking it yet so can't tell you how effective it is.
